LIV Golf Andalucía 2026 Set for Valderrama Return

Well, it’s official. LIV Golf is packing its party back up the narrow fairways of Real Club Valderrama for LIV Golf Andalucía 2026, and by the looks of it, Spain’s going to need a bigger trophy cabinet—and maybe a few extra sangrias on ice.

From June 5–7, the third stop on LIV’s global safari will tee off once again at one of Europe’s most storied golfing cathedrals.

The return of LIV Golf Andalucía marks four straight years of thumping drives, thundering fanfare, and the kind of gallery energy that turns polite claps into full-blown football chants.

And leading the charge? None other than Sergio García, the Spanish matador of golf, who’s bringing his Fireballs GC squad back home to the course that helped define his legacy.

“Valderrama will always be a special place for me, and it means even more to return here with the Fireballs in front of our Spanish fans,” said Garcia. “The passion and energy in Andalucía is unmatched. It feels like a true homecoming every time we play here.”

This isn’t just a sentimental stroll down memory lane. García claimed the individual title here in 2024 and will be joined by compatriots Josele Ballester and David Puig, plus Mexican powerhouse Abraham Ancer, as Fireballs GC tries to set the Iberian Peninsula ablaze once more.

Not to be outdone, Spain’s favourite son Jon Rahm, captain of reigning team champions Legion XIII, will also return to Valderrama—the site of his team’s spine-tingling triumph in 2025.

Between Rahm’s fire, García’s flair, and a field that reads like a Who’s Who of modern golf, expect fireworks on the fairways and fiestas in the fan zones.

A Field Full of Firepower

If you thought the roster couldn’t get more stacked, try this for a lineup: Talor Gooch, two-time LIV Golf Andalucía champ (2023 & 2025); 2025 points leader Joaquin Niemann; bicep enthusiast and physics experiment Bryson DeChambeau; the always-armed Brooks Koepka; left-handed legend Phil Mickelson; mullet-swinging maverick Cam Smith; and crowd-pleaser Dustin Johnson. That’s just the starters.

With 13 teams, 54 players, and 18 Major champions holding 28 Majors between them, LIV Golf Andalucía won’t just be a tournament—it’ll be a three-day assault on every leaderboard, eardrum, and barbecue skewer in sight.

A Course Built for Chaos

Valderrama isn’t just a golf course—it’s a living, breathing, unforgiving Spanish beast. Host of the 1997 Ryder Cup and countless nightmares for professionals and amateurs alike, it’s famed for its claustrophobic corridors and greens slicker than a politician in a sand trap.

“Real Club Valderrama has become a pillar of our global schedule,” said Ross Hallett, LIV Golf’s EVP, Head of Events. “Spain is a vital part of our future… from the passionate crowds to the incredible competition, it continues to set the bar for what LIV Golf represents.”

Hallett’s not wrong. LIV Golf Andalucía has grown year-on-year, now delivering a perfect blend of sporting theatre, fan-first experiences, and—importantly—economic muscle for the region.

“The return of LIV Golf not only reaffirms Andalucía’s status as a premier global sporting destination but also brings significant benefits to the region,” said Valderrama MD Javier Reviriego. “We are proud to host this prestigious event on our home soil.”

Expect hospitality that rivals five-star hotels and rough that bites harder than a flamenco dancer’s stare.

Tickets, Tunes, and Telecasts

Early bird tickets are already flapping out the door at LIVGolf.com/andalucia2026, with Club 54 Hospitality and three-day Ground Passes up for grabs. Attendees can expect not just golf, but live music, food trucks, family fun, and enough social media content to keep influencers snapping all weekend.

Spanish fans will also be able to catch all the drama live and exclusively on Movistar+, with more details on entertainment, hospitality packages, and on-course madness to be revealed soon.

A Global Golf Odyssey

Valderrama is just one stop on LIV’s increasingly passport-punched 2026 tour. Other confirmed destinations include Riyadh, Adelaide, Singapore, South Africa, Mexico City, Virginia, and the UK’s JCB Golf & Country Club—each bringing its own flavour to LIV’s international gumbo.

But if golf has a soul in Spain, it lives at Valderrama. And when Sergio, Jon, Talor, Bryson and the rest of LIV’s rogues’ gallery show up next June, expect Andalucía to once again be the heartbeat of team golf.

And frankly, who wouldn’t want to be front row for that?
