LIV Golf resumes its Asian swing at Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore. Singapore serves as the second arm of the Asian swing after the recent announcement of LIV Korea being renewed for the 2026 season.
LIV returns to Singapore for the fourth consecutive season, marking the event as one of LIV’s most successful tournaments throughout the years. Previous winners include Joaquin Niemann (25’), Brooks Koepka (24’), and Talor Gooch (23’).
Last week in Hong Kong, Jon Rahm broke through for his first win on LIV Golf since the 2024 season. Rahm has been dominant since joining the league in 24’, winning two consecutive season-long individual championships, but had not claimed victory on a tournament since LIV Chicago in 2024.
We take a look at this week’s Top 5 projected performers and which team is most likely to lift the trophy on Championship Sunday.
Top 5 Projected Performers
(1) Jon Rahm
Rahm enters LIV Singapore as our number one projected performer for a fourth week in a row. LIV Hong Kong marked Rahm’s first professional win since the 2024 season in what Rahm noted was a huge weight off his shoulders.
Rahm is currently running away with the league’s individual championship. His 426 points dwarfs second and third place players Elvis Smylie (229.76) and Anthony Kim (217.76) who each have a win to their credit.
(2) David Puig
Puig’s T8 finish in Hong Kong was a nice recovery from a dreadful one in Adelaide. Ranked 11th overall in the league standings, Puig would not necessarily be a surprise winner in Singapore as his 4th place finish last season suggests that this may be the venue he finally takes home his first LIV Golf win.
(3) Lucas Herbert
There are two men in LIV Golf who have not finished outside of the Top 10 this season: one is Jon Rahm, the other is Lucas Herbert.
Consistency has been the name of the game for Herbert, who has been an integral part of Ripper’s success this season and last. Could Singapore provide the breakthrough moment Herbert has been waiting for? It’s not like he doesn’t know how to win; a champion on The International Series Japan last season, Herbet has sniffed victory a few times but has ultimately come up short on LIV several times. To finally pull off this feat, he’ll have to best the two men above him in our rankings as well as a field hungry for a win and all-important OWGR points.
(4) Sebastian Munoz
Quite frankly, the gap between our 3rd and 4th spot is huge. Elvis Smylie and Anthony Kim pulled off shocking wins but haven’t been consistent through three tournaments.
Munoz has been despite the T16 finish last week, his worst of the season. While he was unable to keep his Top 10 streak alive, Munoz makes our list yet again as there is no obvious fall off in play and he did finish T5 in Singapore last season.

(5) Dean Burmester
Burmester got his worst performance out of the way early, a T51 finish from the season opener in Riyadh. Since that time, the South African has been trending in the right direction with T6 and 7th place finishes in Adelaide and Hong Kong, respectively.
Burmy has also played some decent golf outside LIV, coming in T20 in the Investec South African Open Championship with a cumulative score of 5-under par.
A previous winner, Burmester has been the best player on the Southern Guards for some time now and is usually a threat to win a number of tournaments throughout the season.
Top Projected Team
4 Aces
One of the few teams that maintains all four players in The Lock Zone, The 4 Aces finally recorded their first victory since the 2023 season back when they were considered LIV’s original dynasty.
Both Belgians in Thomas Detry and Thomas Pieters look like they’re on the cusp of something special and are looking to join teammate Anthony Kim in the winner’s circle sooner rather than later.
Captain Dustin Johnson finds himself the weak link this season, but even so his play has not been that bad, never finishing worse than 24th place.
The 4 Aces are the only squad to finish on the podium through all three tournaments this season and there’s little reason to believe they won’t be there again at the end of Singapore.
Around the League: What You Need to Know Before Singapore
- Has anyone seen Joaquin Niemann? Ranked 27th in the individual standings and without even a Top 10 finish to his name this season, nobody has dropped off harder than Joaco. The Torque captain won an astounding five LIV Golf tournaments last year but hasn’t even sniffed the leaderboard on a Sunday so far. We’re starting to wonder if Niemann is working through something, or will this just be a down season for a guy who looked primed to contend for a major championship in 2026.
- LIV Golf announced that their tournament in South Korea has been renewed for the 2026 season and foreseeable future. The tournament will occur May 28 – 31 at the Asiad Country Club. Bryson DeChambeau won the South Korean tournament last season.
