World-Class Stars Set to Light Up the Aramco Houston Championship

The Aramco Houston Championship is rolling into Texas this September, and if you thought Houston’s heat was already unbearable, wait until Charley Hull, Carlota Ciganda, and a star-studded cast of Golf Saudi ambassadors crank up the temperature at Golfcrest Country Club.

From 5–7 September, Pearland will play host to the fourth stop of the PIF Global Series, a bold new set of tournaments on the Ladies European Tour that’s quickly turning heads around the golfing world.

Hull, Ciganda, and company aren’t just showing up to fill tee times. They’re arriving with the sort of pedigree and panache that makes ticket stubs look like golden passes.

The lineup includes Bronte Law, Céline Boutier, Anne Van Dam, Alison Lee, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Muni He (Lily), and Marianne Skarpnord – players who collectively pack enough firepower to make Houston’s NASA headquarters look underwhelming.

“Bringing together some of the game’s most accomplished talent, the Golf Saudi ambassadors will showcase not only world-class golf, but also their shared commitment to growing the women’s game on a truly global scale,” organisers confirmed.

Hull’s Return and Ciganda’s Momentum

Ciganda arrives fresh from a T11 finish at the PIF London Championship, while Hull is looking to rediscover the sparkling form she showed earlier this year before injury kept her out of the London event.

Expect her to play with the reckless abandon of someone who’s had enough of watching from the sidelines.

Boutier, meanwhile, doesn’t exactly need an introduction. The 2023 Evian Championship winner has already racked up six victories apiece on the LPGA and LET, including a triumph at the Aramco Team Series – Shenzhen in 2024.

Van Dam’s booming drives and Lee’s double Aramco Team Series Individual titles add yet more bite to a field that’s as international as it is intimidating.

A Bigger Picture for Women’s Golf

Beyond the birdies and bogeys, the Aramco Houston Championship is part of a wider mission. The PIF Global Series isn’t just about who hoists the trophy; it’s about accessibility, inspiration, and legacy.

With events staged from London to Riyadh and now Houston, Golf Saudi’s ambassadors are carrying women’s golf into new markets with the swagger and skill to back it up.

As the organisers put it: “This elite roster of Golf Saudi ambassadors represent the game’s broader mission – improving accessibility, inspiring new audiences and building a unique legacy for the future generations of women’s golf.”

Tickets and How to Watch

For fans, the entry fee is hardly a barrier. Tickets start at just $15 on Friday, $20 for the weekend days, or $50 for a season pass. That’s less than a steak dinner in downtown Houston, and far more satisfying.

The Aramco Houston Championship promises a feast of golf at Golfcrest Country Club – a three-day showcase of power, finesse, and a clear signal that women’s golf is only getting bigger, bolder, and brasher.

Tickets are available at Tixr. More details on the PIF Global Series can be found at pifglobalseries.com.
