The 2025 HOPE 4 Heroes campaign is now underway as the national fundraising drive for the flagship military-program PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), the charitable outreach arm of the PGA of America REACH Foundation.
The campaign, which opens today and runs through December 31, 2025, aims to extend golf’s healing reach to Veterans and active-duty military across America.
A Decade of Service, Tens of Thousands Served

This year marks the 10th anniversary of PGA HOPE. In the past year alone, it has served more than 15,000 Veterans in all 50 states, and overall, the program has reached over 50,000 Veterans through more than 650 locations nationwide.
The six-to-eight-week curriculum is delivered by PGA of America Golf Professionals who are trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency — a proven blend of golf ingenuity and veteran support.
“Golf Has the Power to Change Lives”
“We have seen the profound impact PGA HOPE can make on the lives of our Veterans and active-duty military service members, who are near and dear to our hearts,” said Derek Sprague, CEO of the PGA of America.
“HOPE 4 Heroes dedicates the end of the year to providing this program led by PGA of America Golf Professionals to as many Veterans as possible. Golf has the power to change lives, and that’s exactly what we aim to do through PGA HOPE.”
Therapy by Tee-Time: A Unique Alliance

One of the standout facts about PGA HOPE: it is the only Veteran-focused golf programme to have earned a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
That means the experience isn’t just recreational — it’s recognised as a form of therapy for qualifying Veterans.
Corporate and Grass-Roots Fuel for HOPE 4 Heroes
Backing this campaign is the renowned coaching and technology provider GOLFTEC, which hosts its annual “Drive for HOPE” initiative. GOLFTEC students can receive a free lesson in return for a $50 donation to PGA HOPE (now through Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2025).
In 2024, GOLFTEC and its 500+ PGA of America Golf Professionals raised over $100,000 for the programme via donations and silent auction items like clubs, launch monitors and lesson packages.
“The Drive for HOPE campaign, in partnership with PGA HOPE, is our commitment to make a positive impact on the lives of our nation’s Veterans,” said Joe Assell, Founder & CEO at GOLFTEC.
“We know that golf is a game that can bring joy and healing, and we are dedicated to giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.”
Mobilising the PGA Network Nationwide
The campaign isn’t solely corporate-backed. Every PGA of America Section will receive a toolkit of promotional assets to rally local fundraising efforts across the country.
That means gyms, golf courses, sections and clubs nationwide will participate in this push to fund more PGA HOPE opportunities.
Your Role In the Game
Simply put: the more funds raised, the more Veterans can access PGA HOPE at no cost. This campaign invites donors at every level to step up. To join the drive or make a gift, visit pgahope.com, and be part of the HOPE 4 Heroes mission.
Bottom Line
We’ve seen countless charities launch campaigns; what sets HOPE 4 Heroes apart is that it blends sport, wellness and real benefit to our nation’s Veterans in a tangible way.
There’s no fluff: golf isn’t just a game here — it’s a therapeutic, community-building platform.
If you value doing good by those who’ve done good for us, then this campaign deserves your attention and support.
