Women’s golf has rarely looked this ambitious. The PIF Global Series is returning in 2026 with a five-tournament schedule stretching from Riyadh to Las Vegas, London, Seoul, and Shenzhen — a global leap that speaks to just how fast the women’s game is growing.
The partnership between Golf Saudi and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) isn’t slowing down; it’s gathering momentum. Starting at Riyadh Golf Club in February with the $5 million PIF Saudi Ladies International, the series will travel across three continents, concluding at Mission Hills China in November.
In between lies the show-stopper — the debut of the Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, a co-sanctioned LPGA and LET event that takes women’s golf into one of the sport’s most exclusive arenas.
2026 PIF Global Series Schedule
- PIF Saudi Ladies International – Riyadh Golf Club, Saudi Arabia (Feb 11–14 2026; $5 million)
- Aramco Championship – Shadow Creek Golf Club, Las Vegas USA (Apr 2–5 2026; $4 million)
- PIF London Championship – Centurion Club, United Kingdom (Aug 6–9 2026; $2 million)
- Aramco Korea Championship – New Korea Country Club, Seoul South Korea (Oct 8–11 2026; $2 million)
- Aramco China Championship – Mission Hills China, Shenzhen China (Nov 5–8 2026; $2 million)
That’s $15 million in prize money and a serious statement of intent.
“The Future Has Never Been Brighter”
For H.E. Yasir Al Rumayyan, Chairman of Golf Saudi and Governor of PIF, this is about more than adding tournaments to a calendar.
“Women’s golf continues to go from strength to strength and PIF has a strong track record of backing that growth and investing in the future of the women’s game. Today’s announcement marks another significant milestone as we work closely with great partners at the LPGA and LET to introduce a co-sanctioned event as part of next year’s PIF Global Series. The future of women’s golf has never been brighter, on and off the course.”
The optimism is contagious. Noah Alireza, Golf Saudi’s CEO, said:
“Through our partnership with PIF and our collaboration with the LPGA and LET, we are continuing to transform the women’s game. The introduction of a co-sanctioned event in the United States with the LPGA reflects the global strength and ambition of this series.
We’ve seen firsthand the power of these tournaments to inspire participation and shape the future of golf — from thousands of first-time players in Saudi Arabia to audiences around the world.”
Shadow Creek: Where It Gets Real
For years, Shadow Creek has been a playground for the elite — the kind of place that looks like it was landscaped by someone with an unlimited imagination and budget to match. Now, it’ll host the biggest women’s event in its history.
The Aramco Championship will feature 120 players, a $4 million purse and a mix of LPGA and LET stars teeing it up in a 72-hole shootout.
“The LPGA is proud to join the PIF Global Series through our new co-sanctioned event at Shadow Creek,” said Craig Kessler, LPGA Commissioner. “This partnership is a significant milestone in connecting tours and creating opportunities for the best golfers in the world.
Together with the LET, Golf Saudi, and PIF, we’re continuing to raise the standard for women’s golf and bring it to new fans and markets around the globe.”
Kessler’s not wrong — the LPGA’s presence at Shadow Creek turns this from a headline into a statement.
Partnerships with Purpose
Khalid Al Zamil, Aramco’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, sees the expansion as a moment of pride and progress: “The enhanced PIF Global Series is an important moment for women’s golf and Aramco is immensely proud to extend its partnership with Golf Saudi, building on our long history of enabling sport and empowering communities.
We believe our support of the expanded PIF Global Series will help create new opportunities, elevate the women’s game on a global level, and inspire future stars of the sport.”
And for the LET, this series has become a lifeline — not just in funding, but in profile. Marta Figueras-Dotti, Chair of the LET Board, said: “The PIF Global Series has quickly become a cornerstone of the LET schedule, providing our players with world-class stages and life-changing opportunities.
The addition of the Las Vegas event with the LPGA further unites the women’s game globally, allowing our members to compete alongside the best and continue building momentum for the future of our sport.”
From Local Dreams to a Global Force
Since its inception, the PIF Global Series has blurred borders and silenced cynics. What started as a regional push to boost Saudi women’s golf has grown into a truly global circuit backed by serious investment and genuine ambition.
Kessler summed it up bluntly: “We often talk about routing, courses and purses — and this event checks every box: a spectacular West Coast setting, an iconic course and a purse that continues our momentum in raising the bar for our athletes.”
For Golf Saudi, it’s proof that long-term vision pays off. “We’re proud to partner with the LPGA and LET to host this world-class event at Shadow Creek,” said Alireza.
“The Aramco Championship reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing women’s golf globally and creating opportunities that inspire future generations of players.”
The Bottom Line
From Riyadh’s desert fairways to Las Vegas lights, the PIF Global Series is rewriting what women’s golf can look like — richer, louder, and unapologetically international.
Five tournaments. Three continents. One clear message: women’s golf isn’t waiting for permission anymore.
