Sentosa Golf Club Leads Asia with Trackman-Powered All-Grass Driving Range

Sentosa Golf Club, already a jewel of world golf, has just raised the bar higher than a Bryson DeChambeau tee shot.

The Singapore-based club has become the first in Asia to install Trackman technology on an all-grass driving range, offering both members and the public access to data-driven practice at one of the most sustainable golf venues on the planet.

Framed by the award-winning fairways of The Serapong and The Tanjong, the move cements Sentosa Golf Club’s reputation as a pioneer in golf innovation.

This isn’t just another driving range with some mats and dividers—it’s a radar-powered playground where every shot tells you the truth, whether you like it or not.

High-tech practice with a turf-side feel

The new bays come fitted with Trackman’s advanced radar systems, serving up a banquet of ball flight and club data, in-depth performance analysis, and interactive modes designed to make practice less like punishment and more like progress.

Golfers can now dissect their swing with the same forensic detail as the pros, while still enjoying the satisfying feel of striking shots off real turf.

Andy Johnston, General Manager and Director of Agronomy at Sentosa Golf Club, summed it up best: “The installation of Trackman to the Range at Sentosa Golf Club marks a significant milestone for golf in Asia.

By uniting the world’s most advanced technology with the premium feel of club on turf, we are delivering an experience that is both world-class and accessible to all golfers.”

A venue that keeps raising the stakes

This latest step is just another feather in Sentosa’s well-decorated cap. The Serapong, crowned Asia’s Best Golf Course at the 2024 World Golf Awards, already plays host to the HSBC Women’s World Championship and LIV Golf Singapore.

Now, with the addition of Trackman, the club is blending tradition and technology in a way that feels both inevitable and game-changing.

Giving back while moving forward

Fittingly, the launch coincides with the SG60 Charity Golf Day, celebrating Singapore’s 60th year of independence.

Players will be among the first to put the new range to the test, with proceeds from the event funnelling back into community and youth development initiatives.

Johnston added: “Sentosa Golf Club has always been deeply committed to supporting the wider Singaporean community, and we are honoured to mark the nation’s 60th anniversary by giving back through this special charitable initiative. It’s a meaningful way for us to celebrate Singapore’s journey while helping to shape its future.”

With world-class turf, technology that refuses to lie, and a social conscience to match, Sentosa Golf Club continues to set the pace—not just for Asia, but for golf everywhere.
