DP World Tour Locks In Landmark Extension with DP World — A Decade More of Global Golfing Muscle

The DP World Tour has just signed on for another decade of global domination — and it’s doing it with the same powerhouse partner that’s been hauling its freight since 2022.

DP World, the global logistics titan, isn’t just renewing its vows; it’s doubling down. Under a record-breaking deal that runs until 2035, they’ll stay on as both Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner.

That’s corporate speak for: we’re in this for the long haul.

When DP World first stuck its flag in the European Tour three years ago, it wasn’t just a branding exercise — it was a seismic shift. The Tour went truly global, staging 42 tournaments in 26 countries, serving up record prize money, and pulling in fans from Dubai to Delhi. If golf had a shipping lane, DP World carved it.

“The first stage of our landmark Title Partner relationship has been focused on raising awareness globally of the DP World brand and building a strong pipeline of new business leads for their sector-leading services. Over the past four years, that has been a tremendous success,” said Guy Kinnings, Chief Executive Officer of the DP World Tour.

He wasn’t done there: “The partnership has also evolved and will see DP World continue to become an integral cog in delivering our global tournament schedule, utilising their supply chain expertise.

This is a truly integrated partnership that will continue to deepen over the next decade. This agreement also shows the continued strength of the DP World Tour, which is enjoying growth in our fan base and spectator numbers, as well as our partnership portfolio.

DP World’s decision to invest in the DP World Tour for another decade is further proof that the DP World Tour is going from strength to strength.”

That’s CEO talk for the ship’s sailing beautifully, thanks for asking.

Trade Winds and Tee Shots

Yuvraj Narayan, Group Deputy CEO & Chief Financial Officer of DP World, brought the logistics side back into focus: “Our partnership with the DP World Tour reflects how sport can connect markets and communities, just as we do through global trade.

This long-term investment demonstrates our belief in the Tour’s future and our commitment to making golf more inclusive and sustainable. New events such as the recent DP World India Championship show how we are supporting the game’s growth and accessibility for the long term.”

Translation? They’re not just moving containers anymore — they’re moving golf’s centre of gravity.

Under the deal, DP World keeps its name on the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai until 2035. That’s the glitzy Rolex Series finale where the Race to Dubai champion takes home a trophy and enough prize money to fund a small nation.

DP World will also hitch its name to 15 other tournaments each season, ensuring you can’t swing a club without seeing that familiar blue logo.

India Rising, Grassroots Growing

After the roaring success of the DP World India Championship, the event will return in 2026 — with plans to make it a permanent stop on the calendar. India’s golf scene is heating up, and DP World’s clearly in it for the long game.

Off the fairways, both the Tour and DP World are sticking to a shared mission: make golf less exclusive, more accessible, and a touch more inventive.

Through projects like the Second Life initiative and the Clubhouse programme, they’ve been repurposing shipping containers into mini-golf academies. Not a bad way to turn global logistics into local inspiration.

Fifteen Years and Counting

DP World’s relationship with the Tour began back in 2009 as a presenting partner of the Race to Dubai. Since then, it’s evolved from a sponsorship to something that looks more like a joint venture — one built on trade routes and tee boxes.

The DP World Tour isn’t just thriving; it’s morphing into golf’s most international ecosystem. With this latest deal inked, it’s clear: DP World isn’t just delivering goods anymore — it’s delivering the future of golf.

And as someone might say, “If golf’s a global game, DP World just renewed the shipping contract.”
