Lexus Powers Into LIV-Backed International Series Philippines at Sta. Elena

Luxury meets fairways this October as the Lexus International Series Philippines tees off at Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club, with Lexus stepping in as the official automotive partner.

The four-day LIV Golf-backed tournament runs from October 23–26 and promises a heady mix of world-class golf, Filipino flair, and—thanks to Lexus—a dash of automotive glamour.

This isn’t just a sponsorship deal; it’s a strategic power play. Already anchored by digital entertainment giant BingoPlus, the tournament is stacking its deck with brands that ooze prestige.

For Lexus, the alliance is another swing at cementing golf as a central pillar of its identity.

“Golf has always been a natural expression of the Lexus lifestyle – where precision, passion, and pursuit of excellence come together,” said Masando Hashimoto, President of Lexus Philippines.

“Partnering with International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus allows us to showcase our brand values on a global stage while connecting with a community who shares our appreciation for refinement and performance.”

Lexus Meets LIV’s Rising Power

The Lexus International Series Philippines is part of a 10-event schedule on the Asian Tour, designed as a springboard for players aiming at the LIV Golf League. Translation: it’s no longer just about who can hit it straight; it’s about who can build a career in the fast-shifting world of modern golf.

Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, sees Lexus as more than a sponsor. “We are delighted to welcome Lexus as the official automotive partner of International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus.

This partnership is further proof of the confidence that globally established brands are placing in The International Series as we continue to expand into new markets.

“Lexus shares our vision for excellence, innovation, and elevating the golfing experience, and we look forward to working with them to deliver an unforgettable tournament in the Philippines.”

Global Stars, Local Pride

The Philippines is fast emerging as golf’s next frontier, and this event is set to prove it. Major champions Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel, and Louis Oosthuizen will headline the field, while homegrown star Miguel Tabuena—also a Lexus Philippines brand ambassador—will carry the nation’s hopes on his shoulders.

“As the official automotive partner, Lexus is proud to be a part of this event that will bring joy to many of our customers and all golfers alike,” said Alfred V. Ty, Chairman, Toyota Motor Philippines.

“Congratulations to the organisers, good luck to our national players, led by Miguel Tabuena and we look forward to a fun and exciting tournament ahead.”

More Than Just a Golf Tournament

For Lexus, the timing couldn’t be better. The company is preparing to open its new flagship showroom in September, setting the stage for a busy autumn that will showcase both horsepower and staying power.

At Sta. Elena, players, officials, and VIPs will enjoy the kind of hospitality Lexus insists on calling “Experience Amazing.”

When the Lexus International Series Philippines kicks off, it’s not just another week of birdies and bogeys. This is where luxury cars, big-name entertainment brands, and one of golf’s boldest tours collide to change the way the sport looks and feels—stretching influence all the way from Manila’s fairways to the global stage.
