If you thought LIV Golf had already squeezed every drop of spectacle out of modern sport, it’s back in Riyadh with a fresh reminder: golf under the lights is nice; golf under the lights with global concert headliners is downright mischievous.
Ahead of ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh — the 2026 season opener, staged during Riyadh Season from 4–7 February at Riyadh Golf Club — the league has unveiled a concert lineup led by Akon, Tyga and R3HAB, plus DJ/producer Pawsa and Arabic stars Alshami, Miami Band and Myriam Fares.
And yes, your ticket is doing double duty: all LIV Golf tickets include same-day access to live concert performances, alongside “one-of-a-kind fan experiences” and a field packed with some of the biggest names on the planet.
A week where the final putt is just the interval
LIV’s return to Riyadh follows what it calls a “hugely successful debut under the lights in 2025,” and the ambition for 2026 is clear: keep the competition sharp, keep the crowd louder, and make sure the night doesn’t end when the scorecards are signed.
Performances will run after play each evening, with one headline act on Wednesday and two acts per night from Thursday through Saturday — the sort of schedule designed to turn a golf tournament into something closer to a four-night, floodlit carnival.

Concert schedule: who’s on, and when
Here’s how the after-play programme shapes up at Riyadh Golf Club:
- Wednesday: Pawsa — late-night set from the Fan Village stage, 10:30 pm
- Thursday: R3HAB, then Alshami
- Friday: Miami Band, then Tyga and Akon — a heavyweight hip-hop double-header under the lights
- Saturday: Myriam Fares closes the entertainment programme
From Thursday through Saturday, performances are scheduled between 11 pm and 1:10 am, which is a very LIV Golf way of saying: sleep is optional.
Headliners, hitmakers, and a few billion streams’ worth of noise
Akon’s return to Saudi Arabia comes with the full résumé: multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated, and a catalogue that includes Smack That, Lonely and Don’t Matter, plus collaborations with Michael Jackson, Eminem and Lady Gaga. Tyga brings his own stack of global hits — Rack City, Taste and Swish — backed by streaming numbers that look like phone numbers.
On the electronic side, R3HAB is billed for high-octane sets and crossover dance anthems including All Around The World (La La La) and Lullaby, while Pawsa adds a club-forward edge built around Groove Control and Collect The Commas.
The Arabic lineup adds its own flavour and firepower. Al Shami (also referenced as Alshami) has surged through Arabic pop by blending traditional Turkish music with modern hip-hop, collecting Billboard Arabia Music Awards including Top Levantine Song and Artist of the Year – Levantine Dialect. Miami Band brings Kuwaiti Khaleeji pop energy — popular across the Gulf since the early 90s — with hits such as Bastans and Ashou Ashou.
And then there’s Myriam Fares, described in the Arab world as the “Queen of The Stage” — a closing-night headliner known for choreographed performances and major hits including Goumi and Tukoh Taka, the official 2022 FIFA World Cup single created in collaboration with Nicki Minaji and Maluma.
Golf: major champions, big teams, and a defending winner to chase
If the music is the sizzle, the golf is still the steak — and LIV Golf Riyadh 2026 serves a thick cut. The event brings together 57 players from 16 countries, headlined by defending individual champion Adrian Meronk of Poland (Cleeks Golf Club). The reigning team champions Legion XIII also return after a dominant 2025 season that included five team victories, led again by captain Jon Rahm alongside Tom McKibbin, Caleb Surratt and Tyrrell Hatton.
In other words: you can come for the concerts, but you may end up staying for the scoreboard.
Fan Village returns: fast-paced, family-friendly, and built for hanging out
Away from the ropes and the stage lights, the ROSHN Group Fan Village is back in 2026 with interactive activations, family-friendly entertainment, and a social setting built to match LIV Golf’s “fast-paced, fan-first format.” Think less polite gallery whispers, more festival energy — with golf happening in the middle like the world’s classiest mosh pit.

LIV Golf has always liked to arrive with a bit of theatre. In Riyadh, it’s not just arriving with theatre — it’s bringing the whole touring production, turning the opening week of 2026 into four nights where the golf is elite, the music is loud, and the floodlights do the rest.
