Ryder Cup Live Set to Bring Golf’s Greatest Spectacle to the Heart of New York City

The PGA of America has announced the launch of Ryder Cup Live, an immersive fan experience designed to bring the magic of the 2025 Ryder Cup beyond the fairways of Bethpage Black.

With a mix of live events, watch parties, and at-home kits, Ryder Cup Live aims to make this year’s contest between Europe and the United States feel less like a golf tournament and more like a global festival.

“Ryder Cup Live provides unprecedented opportunities for spectators to take part in the spirit of the Ryder Cup,” said Jeff Price, PGA of America Chief Commercial and Philanthropy Officer. “Whether it’s visiting the high-energy experience at Rockefeller Center, attending an official Ryder Cup-themed watch party or elevating your own space into a Ryder Cup celebration with the help of an official watch party kit, people everywhere can watch the drama unfold at Bethpage Black and be part of the action in a whole new way.”

Ryder Cup Live at Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Plaza Ryder Cup

With Bethpage Black sitting just outside New York City, it was inevitable that the Ryder Cup would spill into Manhattan. From Thursday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 28, Rockefeller Center’s Center Plaza and iconic Rink will be transformed into a Ryder Cup playground, free and open to the public daily from 7 am to 7 pm.

In partnership with GDX Studios, the venue will host live viewing parties of the Opening Ceremony and all three days of match play. But this is no ordinary big screen gathering—visitors can dive into interactive golf challenges, explore sponsor activations, and rub shoulders with NBC talent offering insider insights.

The attractions read like a golfer’s bucket list:

  • Toptracer’s First Tee Experience puts fans in the hot seat of the Ryder Cup’s famous opening shot at Bethpage Black. Standing on a virtual tee box in the middle of Rockefeller Plaza, you’ll feel the same nerves usually reserved for players in Keegan Bradley’s or Luke Donald’s squads.
  • The BMW Viewing Lounge offers a plush setup to watch the matches, with a fleet of bespoke BMWs designed by the Ryder Cup captains themselves parked nearby.
  • Ralph Lauren’s immersive exhibit celebrates its role as Team USA’s official outfitter with a showcase of the Ryder Cup Collection, blending high fashion with high stakes.
  • Michelob ULTRA Greenside at The Rink brings cold pints, comfortable seating, and even a putting challenge for those brave enough to test their touch.
  • The Ryder Cup Live Bar takes things further with themed cocktails, bourbon from Elijah Craig, cherry limeade moonshine, world-class wines, and even a Dark ’n Stormy courtesy of Goslings. Add in food offerings, memorabilia, an AR photo booth, and you’ve got a bar experience fit for both sides of the Atlantic.
  • The SWAG Golf Experience leans into golf’s edgier side, offering a glimpse into the artwork that adorns the U.S. Team’s official bags and giving lucky fans the chance to win one for themselves.

Watch Parties Across New York City

If Rockefeller Center is the epicentre, the watch parties are the satellite celebrations. In partnership with Jack Morton, bars across the city will host Official Ryder Cup Live Watch Parties from Sept. 25–28.

The lineup includes Five Iron Golf venues, classic Irish pubs like The Long Hall and Galway Hooker, and downtown favourites such as The Grafton and Blue Haven.

Each spot promises more than just TVs—they’ll deliver an atmosphere pulsing with Ryder Cup tension, from the roars of birdies to the groans of missed putts.

Official Watch Party Locations include:

  • The Westbury – 20 W 38th St
  • The Long Hall – 58 E 34th St
  • Five Iron Golf (Grand Central, Herald Square, Rockefeller Center)
  • Blue Haven (Murray Hill, Greenwich)
  • The Grafton – 126 1st Ave
  • Galway Hooker – 133 7th Ave S

Bringing Ryder Cup Live Home

Not everyone can make it to New York, but the PGA has that covered too. For those hosting their own celebrations, the Ryder Cup Live Ultimate Watch Party Kits and At-Home Fan Kits deliver everything needed to turn a living room—or even a golf club lounge—into Bethpage Black East.

  • The Ultimate Watch Party Kit ($975 + taxes and fees) is built for large groups. Packed with flags, banners, cocktail napkins, coasters, bar menus, and even “Quiet Please” paddles, it’s enough to transform any space into a mini Ryder Cup arena.
  • The At-Home Fan Kit ($295 + taxes and fees) is a more intimate offering, including team hats, custom prints, balloons, and themed drinkware. It even comes with a Ryder Cup history and trivia booklet, plus cocktail recipes featuring tournament sponsors like Tito’s, Goslings, Elijah Craig, and Michelob Ultra.

A Global Stage, a Local Celebration

For a competition that has historically been confined to the ropes of the host course, Ryder Cup Live breaks the mould. It’s golf’s most electric week, reimagined for a city that knows a thing or two about hosting spectacles.

Coverage of the Ryder Cup itself runs Sept. 22–28 across NBC, Peacock, USA Network, and GOLF Channel, with Bethpage Black set to be the theatre for another transatlantic showdown.

But this year, whether you’re standing under the shadow of Rockefeller Plaza, tucked into a Manhattan pub, or on your sofa with a Ryder Cup kit, the roar of the crowd will feel closer than ever.
