The unmistakable roar of the crowd, the sizzle of summer, and the scent of something stronger than sunscreen – LIV Golf Adelaide is back in 2026, and it’s returning to The Grange Golf Club with the swagger of a rock star on a world tour. From February 13–15, golf’s most electrifying event will once again crash land in South Australia for three days of high-octane tee shots, late-night singalongs, and fanfare fit for royalty — or at least for Cam Smith and his merry band of Aussie ball-strikers.
LIV Golf Adelaide, which has rewritten the rules on what a golf tournament should feel like since its 2023 debut, isn’t just back — it’s here to stay.
The capital of South Australia has officially inked a deal to remain LIV’s only Australian tour stop through 2031. That’s right — pack the esky and call your mates, Adelaide is LIV Golf in Oz.
“Adelaide has been our pinnacle event with LIV Golf for the past few years,” said Ripper GC captain Cam Smith, with his trademark mullet and modesty. “It’s always special going home and having our Aussie crowd behind us – they’ve been great to us.”
Great might be an understatement. In 2025, LIV Golf Adelaide pulled in over 102,000 punters over three days and injected a whopping $81.46 million into the local economy.
That’s a 14% jump from the previous year, in case you’re keeping score — and South Australians sure are.
This year’s global broadcast reach smashed records too, clocking in at 785 million households across 100+ countries. Not bad for a league that’s barely out of its nappies.
Marc Leishman of Ripper GC summed it up best: “Aussies love a good time, and it’s a big week for that – being able to party and watch world-class golf at the same time is a pretty good reason to head to Adelaide I’d say.”
He’s not wrong. At LIV Golf Adelaide, golf is only part of the show. With the rowdy “Watering Hole” hospitality zone, Club 54’s velvet-rope access, and a soon-to-be-announced concert lineup that last year featured acts loud enough to rival a Bryson DeChambeau drive, it’s clear that LIV is teeing up more than just birdies.
Speaking of bombs, the Chilean wunderkind Joaquin Niemann – who took the trophy at The Grange in 2025 – is currently leading the individual standings heading into the LIV Golf UK by JCB event.
The Torque GC captain has since added wins in Mexico City, Singapore, and Virginia.
In case anyone doubted LIV’s international pull, just look at the leaderboard. From Rahm to Koepka, Phil to DJ, the gang’s all here — and all in.
“This isn’t your grandfather’s golf tournament,” said Adam Harter, LIV Golf’s Chief Marketing Officer.
“LIV Golf Adelaide is the blueprint for golf’s next era. It’s more than a tournament, it’s a global celebration where competition, culture, and community collide.”
That community, it turns out, has been throwing its full weight behind the event. Over three years, LIV Golf Adelaide has brought in more than $217 million for South Australia.
And with the city planning to redevelop North Adelaide Golf Course into one of the world’s top public golf venues, it’s clear the sport is being built to last — and to thrill.
But the 2026 edition isn’t just about the future of golf — it’s about being part of the country’s biggest summer party.
Sharing calendar space with the bp Adelaide Grand Final (featuring AC/DC, no less), the Adelaide International, and the Santos Tour Down Under, LIV Golf Adelaide will also tee off the state’s famed festival season including Adelaide Fringe, WOMADelaide, and Adelaide Festival.
So, whether you’re a golf tragic, a music lover, or just someone who enjoys sipping something cold while yelling encouragement at men in loud trousers, LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 has your number.
Hospitality options, concert announcements, and — fingers crossed — more unforgettable scenes at The Grange are still to come.
To borrow from the league’s own tagline — Long LIV Golf. And long may LIV Golf Adelaide reign.
